OVERVIEW

3-year starter for two different staffs with the Wildcats. Big-bodied wideout who excels at the catch point and rarely puts the football on the ground. He's not a dynamic athlete and won't consistently run by DBs vertically, but he is loose enough to create separation. The route running can become more consistent. Average after the catch and has enough speed to pull away in space. The skillset is there to be a ball-winner outside the numbers and if he hits I think he'd be considered a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2. Good player, but probably won't be an elite player in the NFL.

Usage/Body Type/Play Personality
- Lined up primarily on the outside but they moved him into the slot about 25% of the time each year
- NFL size; tall with a solidly built frame
- Despite his size he hasn't quite hit his ceiling as a blocker. Flashes of effort but technique needs work. Body blocks on cracks and pins.
- “Someone that knows how to work. Someone that knows and understands how to be a pro.” - former Arizona WR Jacob Cowing (2024 Scouting Combine)
- Two-time All-American with over 200 career catches
- Did not work out at the Combine

Physical Tools
- Loose athlete. For a taller, longer wideout he can drop his weight and get in and out of cuts. Not explosive.
- Solid long speed; won't blow you away.
- Really strong. DBs often bounce off him mid-route.

Pre-Catch
- Relies on size and strength to fight through jams. Faced a lot of press and had average production.
- Not an overly sharp route runner at this stage based off my film study. Bit clunky at the break point. Flashes ability to drop weight and snap breaks off but not consistently.
- “He’ll jog mid-route and then when he gets to the top he’ll burst away from you. He’ll lull you to sleep and then as soon as he’s about to make his break that’s when he’ll kick it into another gear. So you can’t let him lull you to sleep, you have to play at your own pace. He can also find the soft spots in zone to sit down in.” - West Virginia CB Garnett Hollis (Shrine Bowl) when explaining to me why he was the toughest player he faced last season

Catch Point-Plus
- Ballskills, body control and hand-eye coordination stand out.
- Very confident hands; plucks the ball. Really smooth; rarely put it on the ground as a sophomore as a high-volume target and again as a junior he was very reliable. Can win above the rim at a high rate.
- Not going to be a dynamic YAC threat in the NFL but with his tools there's enough there to be average.
